Like,
i know his head's spinning um so i don't want to add anything to that i definitely want to be a resource for him um but i like to let guys uh when it comes to the baseball stuff come to me um if they have questions or anything like that um i'm not gonna watch them pitch one time in the big leagues and then go at them with a book full of
uh adjustments to make and stuff like that you know they they have to get their feet wet they have to learn and kind of be thrown to the fire um the way all of us were so uh but you know once they get touched up a little bit and and they have questions they'll come and talk to guys and and i feel like we have a really good atmosphere down there a really good culture where you
No question's a bad question, and we have a lot of guys with experience down there, so they can ask different things.
We have different guys.
Obviously, I'm a different type of pitcher than Raj is, than Louie is.
We have a lot of different resources that they can use, and I like that guys feel comfortable to come and ask us questions and to try to grow any way they can.
Yeah, I mean, it's definitely a different task nowadays with how close the fans and everybody outside the game feels to the players.
Obviously, social media and that kind of stuff plays a part in that and how easy it is for fans and people outside the game
to feel like they can you know speak to whoever they want to speak to and speak however the way they want they want to speak to anybody um i think it's uh it's important for us as relievers and i mean anybody really but you know obviously there's a huge spotlight on a reliever because usually you're the reason why you win or lose a certain game or whatever um
I think it's just important to be strong inside your own mind.
Just really kind of submerging yourself in what your job is and obviously like
what matters is what you do on the field, right?
Like, what matters is how you make the adjustment from one outing to the next, one pitch to the next, one batter to the next, whatever it is.
Nothing outside that really matters.
So, you know, what matters is the group that's in here and how you put your work in and how you β how your process β
kind of derives results.
And, um, obviously like you want it, everybody's out there trying to win for each other in here.
Not as much for me.
There is an, there is a portion of it and an aspect that you want to win for the city and the fan base and stuff like that.
