But what really matters, like we're out here playing for each other and we were really the only ones that see the work that everybody puts in on a daily basis.

And we see each other's struggles closer than anybody else.

And we see each other's successes closer than anybody else, too.

So I think it's just really important that we we focus on the game and not like the outside noise.

they have just good people over there um that was the first roster of guys that i felt like um you know i really will be able to stay close with forever um and that's because of the people that you know dombrowski and john middleton and and all those guys put in the clubhouse and and the people that you're around every day and um it's not dissimilar to what we have here like it it

When GMs and presidents and owners put a priority on the people and the character in the room, I think that's why you see groups like the Phillies and groups like us that get so close throughout the course of a year because there's no bad apples, so to speak, and guys really just...

they're out there for the right reasons they're out there playing for each other and um that's what you have over there as well as here so uh always good to see those guys and uh you know we were so close to them in spring training too so i get to see them a lot during the spring months and um yeah it's fun to get them out too you'll see them uh in august again and maybe both teams will be pushing towards the playoffs at that point jeff thanks so much for the time yeah thanks for having me

I mean, those guys are on top of the plate, you know, you get, you know, the first out, you know, trout singles, you know, okay.

Um, and then just, you know, just a couple of arm side misses really, you know, but a slider was good.

And, um, you know, you're just, you're just trying to put guys in spots to, to get the job done.

And he's, you know, you look up at his stuff, right?

He's striking out a lot of people and it seems to be one extreme or the other with him right now.

So just a couple of heaters that got away from him.

And, you know, we've talked about it.

The whole thing is just getting ahead and just the heaters that kind of missed arm side.

Physical reports were really good.

He felt good.
