When someone's got that expectation and in your experience, how would you balance really listening more deeply to really, truly understand like the nurse's station situation versus like just saying, yeah, I've got the answer.

Here it is right away, especially when.

And senior leadership, they want confidence in, you know, they want confidence from you or whoever we're talking about here before the insights are even fully formed, before you have all the answers.

How do you push back on that?

What do you do?

So I think the first question is, I think that is a common assumption.

I would maybe question that assumption.

I'm sure in some situations, this is right.

I've seen literally job descriptions where it says, in the first 30 days, you will do this.

In the first six days, you'll do this.

I think in other situations, we assume, oh, I've got to come in and I've got to shake things up and make my mark.

And I don't know if that's always necessarily true.

Either way, you know,

getting a good understanding of the organization, of the people, of the industry, if you're new to the industry, to the company, right?

That's really important.

And I think a lot of people

hiring is a risky decision, right?

So how do you mitigate that risk?

You try to do all your legwork beforehand, but also you try to, I think, as a new person coming in, you're trying to say, oh, you made a good decision.

I don't necessarily think coming in and saying, here's my plan is always the right way to do that.
