Well, I mean, I don't know if anyone in Vancouver would have any idea how to talk about that one.

I'm not disputing anything that Arthur is reporting or speculating on.

I just haven't heard anything other than Matt Barzell wants to stay with the Islanders.

But you know what?

Yeah, I mean, the Vancouver thing, I mean, I remember the Vancouver thing goes back to the Montreal draft.

There was all kinds of rumors about that that ended up getting tamped down.

Seattle is interesting, though.

Seattle needs to, as one person told me recently, like, they need to stop just trying to hit singles.

I don't know that we've seen a team in the NHL that's just quite content, whether it's at the expansion draft or through trades or through the regular draft, just content just to hit singles.

And what that's done with Seattle is it's put everybody one level higher than they should be.

A couple of things have happened with Seattle.

I think one, for a long time there, it seemed like it was a team that had too many people making decisions.

And that's what you get when too many people make decisions.

And two, it's been a very, very safe

safe organization, just get on base, just hit a single, and they gotta stop just trying to hit singles.

And it's time for the Fats.

So I think, and I do think that Botterill is well aware of that.

And I do think that that would be one of the teams to watch this summer.
