So that does make some sense to me when you're up and around that rarefied area of the draft.
uh and they have they've gotten more interesting once upon a time they were ruthless like this is like back when when the combine was that you know a hotel by the airport in toronto was like a one-day fly-in fly-out type affair maybe maybe two days and it's come a long way obviously that's a week-long event part of it is marketing of the draft and all of it um but i mean there would be like ruthless questions i remember one kid
telling me one of the questions that he got back then.

If there was a pill we could give you that would allow you to win the Stanley Cup, but it would take 10 years off your life, would you take it?
Like ruthless questions like that, which are null.
But here's one that one prospect told me yesterday when he was interviewed.
One team asked him this one.
This was interesting.
He said, we're going to give you an option.
You can either have a four year NHL career and win one Stanley Cup, or you could have a 10 year NHL career and not win any Stanley Cups.
