And Robertson very clearly wants to go to contender and like, I can't blame him.
Why would you take a step back?
You've been so close all this time.
And you know that you're a true contributor to a playoff caliber team.
Like, it's not like we're looking at someone going, oh, but he chokes in the playoffs or anything like that's not true, right?
So it makes sense for all the reasons that he'd want to go to an actual contender.
I don't know.
They, uh,
They're a weird one.
The Maple Leafs, they always are.
They are always the center of attention.
I will say the Hiller hire kind of caught me by surprise.
And at first I didn't like it.

And that's like...
you know a good spot for a team that's kind of retooling kind of competing who's to say they don't know we don't know it'll all turn out how the chips fall with austin matthews um but i think with hiller i'm very curious like how much he's going to be able to like make a statement and show who he is outside of la because when he was with the kings and gets the job there they obviously have this trap system and it seems like he was upholding the system and the foundation that was already in place there and they played a very defensive way and i don't think
that's going to work for the Maple Leafs.
We saw Craig Berube attempt it for years, and I think it stripped away what's made this team so special.
