Kevin, this is like you asking me to go to a thrift store and pick out, like, a diamond.
Okay.
I mean, you know, we're just – here's the thing.
When it's the American League, you're just dealing with a bunch of junk, a bunch of mediocrity.
And the reality is I wish I could tell you that these are the teams that are going to emerge.
I don't know because they've all stunk at points this season.
I don't know when they're going to stink again.
inevitably, at least a couple of them are going to stink down the stretch because that's kind of who they've been all year long.
I think looking at the schedules, and I know that those aren't always indicative of the way that teams are going to play because especially with teams that have had bad years like Kansas City and Colorado, they're going to want to at least walk off on a good note and feel like they spoiled it for someone.
But
On schedules alone, I think the two central teams, between the schedules and the record advantages they have right now, the Guardians and or the White Sox are the favorites for that final wild card spot.
But I'm not discounting the Jays by any means.
It's not like they have a difficult schedule down the stretch.
You know, Baltimore, Cincinnati, I know they face Jacob DeGrom, who's been ridiculous lately.
And I know...
Like, looking at the Blue Jays' probable pitchers, it's very interesting what Max Scherzer, Dylan Cease, Jose Soriano, and, like, a shrug emoji.
And I get that Trey Savage is going to be in there, and I get that Spencer Arrighetti is going to be somewhere in there.
But one would think that if you have 10 games left in the season, you could do a little better than an emoji.
But that's the kind of year it's been like for the Blue Jays at this point.
I think that they choked away a pretty big lead.
