I didn't really understand comedy yet.
It really wasn't until after college, a couple of years, that I understood that comedy was what I should be doing.
who I name-check in the Netflix show, he was taking a stand-up comedy class taught here in New York by a guy named Lee Frank, who was a comic.
And he said, I think you'd be good at it, Jeff.
And I tried it, and I loved it right away.
Not since karate had I felt like a connection to something.
I was obsessed where I could do it all day, every day.
