Gary's easy.
You just complain in a monotone voice.
Firstly, morning guys.
Yeah, it's a strange one, isn't it?
We were in the training ground yesterday to go through with the doctor and a few of the medical staff, the kind of protocols we'll have to go through when the boys come back in, the tests and procedures and obviously screening procedures and so on and so forth.
In the midst of that, I came back and the chairman sent me over a bit of information, which was the EFL talking about the two proposals, which is basically, A, we finish the season
or B it's a points per games scenario which we've got in the league below in league two and they've got five days I think that the EFL or the league one chairman to vote on it and at the end of those that period you know we're going to get a decision one way or the other and hopefully resolve the remaining promotion and relegation picture in our league what do you want to do now Joey
I prefer to finish the campaign.
I think we've been quite vocal about that from the start.
Obviously, we believe we could have got the automatics.
I think we'd had one defeat in 17, unbeaten in 12, being a way to every side who had a chance of winning the league.
And we had to play nine games.
Six of those were in the bottom 10.
Three of those six were against teams in the bottom three.
You know, you'd argue Bolton and Bury or...
Bolton and Southend already down, probably only Tranmere fighting for survival there.
So we felt we had a right shot of automatics.
We're disappointed.
We were two points behind Rotherham with them to play at home.
So we're disappointed in this, but we will get a chance.
