The way we treated Canada is just so...
It's just so abhorrent.
It's super embarrassing.
I grew up in Detroit.
Canada is 10 minutes from Detroit.
So Canada has always been a close neighbor.
Like Windsor, Canada, when I was growing up, everybody would, once you turned 18, you went to Canada because you could drink over in Canada at 18 years old.
So we used to go over there and hang out.
And, you know, it was almost like you had two 21st birthdays, right?
You had 18 and you had 21.
And so there, you know, Michigan and Canada do a lot of business together.
And we're considered, you know, to be close neighbors and good neighbors, right?
The kind of neighbors that you want.
And I remember during the first Trump presidency, it was a Canadian who tweeted, I wish I could remember who this was.
And he said, right now, Canada feels like their neighborhood is being messed up by the meth lab that's beneath them talking about America.
I was like, oh, wow.
But to betray a country like that, that has been nothing but a friend to our nation, it's just...
You know, humiliating, embarrassing, all of those things, even the way he treated Mark Carney in the White House.
Like that was just I mean, that was just rude, like just no manners.
Like, to be honest, like, I mean, even beyond a political maneuvering route.
