I usually end with this question, which is, you know, for people who've been listening to this podcast, right?

They've been listening for many episodes or possibly even many years, but they haven't moved forward with their private practice because, you know, they're nervous.

Because their kids are little because X, Y, and Z reason.

What advice would you have for

So I love that.

And and I love that book.

It's it's back there somewhere, but that that's a great one.

And then another, you know, uh kind of thing on like the you know, 80% done is better than not at all, right?

Is either like done is better than perfect, or I think that Brene Brown says something along the lines of here's another one I'm gonna butcher, is you know, that procrastination is a form of like perfectionism, or perfectionism is a

procrastination or something along those lines, right?

Basically a lot of times people are just waiting for things to be perfect, but it really is kind of a procrastination mechanism, right?

So I totally agree with your advice of just like one step and then like another and then another.

And then before you know it, you're underway and you've got your business set up, you've got clients coming in the door.

And then you're trying to figure out what do I do about hiring, right?

Yeah, because we we can be confident for you, right?

But I think that most people, whether it's a spouse, a parent, or a best friend, I think pretty much everybody who's ever entered private practice has somebody who has said, You're really good at this, you should do this for yourself or something along those lines.

But usually the SLP or the OT who kind of needs to have that belief in themselves, right, in order to move forward.

So, you know, folks who are listening to the podcast, you know, I love that you're listening, but I also want you to, you know, be taking those steps forward because you might end up where Samantha is, which will lead
