Nobody in my family was ever famous or, you know, that kind of crazy world.
I felt very different and I didn't ever want to overshine my sisters.
I didn't want to, you know, take the spotlight from anybody.
And that's just like really deeply rooted in me.
And then I realized I'm taking the spotlight from myself.
Yes.
And I'll never forget...
I had a friend say to me, it's okay to shine.
And I was like, it is?
And once I opened my mind to that thought,
allowing myself to feel that way, it really did change things for me.
It's so true because no.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay.
When I have a money management meeting, the three men come over in suits.
And I'm always like, oh, okay, guys.
Thanks for dressing up.
I'm sitting here in my jeans.
Um, but they do, it's intimidating, but I don't let it intimidate me anymore because for so many years, agents would come to the sets like periodically to visit their clients or whatever.
I hear it all the time.
