So I'm going to go for that first.
And I'm going to try and, you know, write articles, get paid for the articles and make a career out of that.
And I'll work on the books at the same time.
um and yeah I think I did that but my first few books were just and I'm not just saying it like they were genuinely awful and I had to I suppose that's how you learn really isn't it you kind of do something a couple times.
No I gotta be real now this was the first book like no I'm like when I think about it like it was called Womanizer and it was a great title but
it's good britney it was about um kind of like this character in the banking crush not good um and like he oh my god i can't even get into it but i sent it to a publisher and she an irish publisher and she was so kind and she wrote back and she said thank you so much for your submission i did read it with great interest uh no yeah but if you do all of these things um maybe one day
She was like, you have to have a clear pitch, you know, you have to avoid cliches.
I remember like, then I was like, have I got cliches?
And I read it back.
Yeah.
Cliche Central.
And like all of these different things.
But instead of kind of taking that advice at the time, I looked at it and said, yeah.
I'm obviously shite so I'll leave it there but then it's like this compulsion I kept coming back to it to write different books and I think I had to do all those books like the three books or whatever um and up until now to to get better yeah better at it you know yeah
You know, the fork in the road moments in life.
Yes.
I'm sure she looks back and goes, what?
I know.
The lessons were learned.
But yeah, no, it was it was crazy time.
