So this is uh my a brief history of my journey.
So I had no idea what an intercessor was.
I grew up in a conservative traditional type of of churches and um and they didn't really talk about the Holy Spirit much, right?
It was really based on the Bible, which is great.
I love that I got such a good foundation.
But I learned nothing about the supernatural.
And I didn't even realize how much is going on out there.
And so uh I remember
At some point the Lord was talking to me about being an intercessor and I was learning to hear his voice more and I was like, Well, I don't know what that is.
And so I just trying to do some research and read some books on you know, for a while I really thought prayer warrior was the same thing as intercessor and it's not.
What I learned is that, you know, every believer
per what the Bible says, um, you know, to pray without ceasing, to always be praying about anything and everything, that's what every believer needs to be doing, right?
So every follower of Jesus really needs to be a prayer warrior.
That's part of what it means to follow Jesus.
But what I've discovered is that an intercessor is a specific calling where God gives you assignments similar to, you know, like you're called to be a pastor, evangelist, worship leader.
Right.
Everybody's given certain talents and gifts and skills and called to a certain type of assignment for the kingdom.
Right.
And one of those is an intercessor, which is based on Ezekiel, uh, the Bible verse, Ezekiel 22, verse 30, where it talks about God said, I look for someone to stand in the gap.
And so that's what intercession is.
