Who are you most likely to help?
A stranger who comes up to you randomly or one of your close friends.
It's not that you wouldn't help the stranger, right?
Most of us would probably step up and help.
But the thing is, you're going to go above and beyond for somebody who really loves you, right?
And so it's a similar concept with the Lord.
When you develop that relationship, when you put effort into that connection with him, he's going to start showing up in ways that are going to blow your mind, that are really going to shock you and surprise you in a great way, right?
You're going to be pleasantly surprised.
So the next key really focuses on the idea that sometimes it's not so much what you say that makes or breaks the conversation.
It's the way you approach it, right?
There is actually a general formula that we see in the Bible, in the New Testament, that shows us how God likes to be talked to.
God actually shows us how he wants us to approach him when we have a conversation.
And so that's one of the things that I go into in these seven keys.
Another one is that God actually wants to talk with you.
He loves you so, so much.
We get that in our head.
but we have to actually understand who we are when we come to him.
Do you like it when people approach you with a whiny voice or they're kind of like their words are sort of like a begging way of talking?
Maybe they have their eyes cast to the ground or off to the side so they're not actually looking at you.
Like your body language has a lot to say about how you see yourself.
