Pass me some wine, please.
Like I need something to relax.
So constantly quitting will always slow you down.
I also call it little quits.
So I'm going to use a weight loss analogy.
Little quitting on yourself is like you have your meal plan, like know what you're going to eat.
But you're going to have a little bit extra pizza because your kid left it on the plate and it's just sitting there and you don't want to throw it away.
So you're going to just have that.
Right.
That's like a little quit.
Or you have, you know, a plan to go walk with your buddy every morning and you decide one day it's too cold and you're not going.
But it's just one day.
That's a little quit.
Right.
Those little quits stop the formation of the habit in your brain, right?
So when you decide that you want to create a new habit, you start a little cute neural pathway in your brain.
It's like a little baby.
It's like a little infant and it's very fragile and it needs to be nurtured and it needs to be paid attention to and watered.
But when you little quit, it's like you just snap it, you cut it in half and you stop the growth of that neural pathway.
And then your old self is like, hooray.
