The guidelines from the Menopause Society and the Australasian Menopause Society has fantastic guidelines too, are up to date.

And so when people are telling you they're not, I would recommend going and double checking there.

Use that as your sort of source of fact checking.

They have documents that are very easy to look at.

But I would also say that specifically for people in the United States, that there is so much about this administration that is doing so many awful things for women.

And to think of removing the black box from estrogen as some kind of win for women is really a smoke and mirrors.

I've just told you that we should be able to explain that to people, and I get that we can't.

But the problem is, is it's not that the black box warning

you know, that removing it is a big thing.

What should have happened was that we should have looked at systemic versus oral versus systemic versus vaginal.

We should have looked at drugs by class, you know, in other, in, in song, in every other medication, we, we,

We don't just say, oh, all of estrogens.

We look at, when we say like all of immune drugs, we like look at them by class and we have class specific warnings.

We should be doing that for estradiol, for conjugated equine estrogens, for the different progestins.

And so what I would say was,

This whole thing with a black box warning, to me, seemed to be all about a PR move and not about what actual people who prescribe hormone therapy and people who study it would have actually wanted.

We would have all welcomed an actual, real PR move.
