So if you're somebody at very low risk for osteoporosis, is that something you're going to need versus very high risk?

Yeah, we don't have any data to show that there's benefit for that.

Yeah, so definitely oral estrogen is associated with a two- to four-fold increased risk of clots.

In the Women's Health Initiative, it was two-fold for the younger women between ages 50 and 59.

For transdermal, we don't have good long-term randomized trials comparing it with cellulose.

The observational data would suggest that there's no increased risk, but there's always an asterisk because it's observational data.

And also, I would say that most observational data is probably with a 50-microgram patch equivalent.

And so when you start using these higher doses, I don't think we have an answer for that.

Yeah, we have no data to support cognitive benefit from menopause hormone therapy.

And this has been reviewed in detail at the last two menopause society meetings by Dr. Pauline Mackey.

And so it's an active area of research, an active area of study, but people should not be starting it because they believe it's going to protect them from dementia.

Yeah, the data is also not really very good.

And it's from the WHI that we have it.

And that's oral and one form of oral that we don't use.

And the difference is really quite small.

And if you look at what you could achieve with exercise or diet or other things, you're going to see a far greater improvement.

Yeah, well, my good friend Lauren Stryker just left a question, women are not mice.

So I think that's a really important thing.

You know, mice have estrus and women have a menstrual cycle.

Mice are meant to breed until they die, right?
