the healthcare world has developed.
So I, in the first couple of years, was already getting burnt out.
And I'd worked so hard to get to that point.
I had a one-year-old at home.
I was crying between patients.
I mean, it was just not a good situation because I wanted to care for people so badly, but also I had to do all the paperwork and everything to get paid.
That's when I said, okay, I have to figure out something different.
and we figured out a way to have scribes take care of our documentation so then I was like okay this is this is life-changing for me I was enjoying practicing medicine I wasn't having to sit there and type in front of my patients and and I could just do what I loved and and then as I told my colleagues um whether locally or across the country what I was doing they were like how can I do that too so
One of the things that we fail to do sometimes is we don't say yes when we could have said yes.
Say yes to that position that you
weren't sure you were qualified for, say yes.
Because if you don't say yes, then somebody else is going to say yes.
And maybe your passion, your vision, your values aren't going to be represented.
I've said yes to a lot of things that I wasn't quite sure about doing.
But say yes and just see what happens.
And I think really great things can happen from that.
I am super excited.
It's really it's fun to be here even be outside of Kansas.
So Miami is great.
You know, I think that one of the most important messages that I would like to share, I guess, with the world out there is I'm a small town doctor.
