So I think that is actually the biggest factor.

Now again, you could say that maybe this is misogynistic, but essentially my understanding of it is that there is kind of forty million spent by the GA on intercounty GA teams, and they are now concerned about where they will get the money to fund three different sets of games.

Will that just be multiplied by three?

And if so, where will they get the hundred and twenty million to spend the same amount on camoe and uh football, ladies' football, as they currently spend on on the Gaelic Gaines?

But this is not the first time that we've heard accusations of misogyny against the GA.

And it's not the first time, I don't think, that you and I have even spoken about them.

We've spoken about the scorts.

We have so the scorts issue.

Um, do we need to recap that?

I think listeners will

probably remember we talked about it a lot, but I mean look, it was primarily a a camoe issue, to be fair, but it did sort of feed into questions about governance and and structures and it definitely strengthened the case for equality of treatment.

The very short version of it is that this blazing row erupted last year over whether Camugi players should be permitted to wear plain old shorts instead of this semi uncomfortable well, not even semi-uncomfortable, very uncomfortable, very awkward skorts that a lot of them absolutely hated playing.

So it was Dublin and Kilkenny players themselves decided that they would take a stand on the issue following the w uh there was a report by the GPA which said that seventy percent of them didn't like wearing a a s a skort and they would prefer to be in shorts.

So very pragmatically, Dublin and Kilkenny got together and they said, Look, if anybody wants to wear shorts, they should wear shorts.

If anybody wants to wear a skirt, they can wear a skirt.
