The, you know, Vote Hub had an interesting analysis just a couple of days ago that showed that African-American turnout was up post-Calais all across the South.
And, you know, we certainly felt that, you know, Tennessee is sort of a dead end or state at this point in terms of like there's one party rule.
They took away they're trying to take away the last Democratic district.
But that state's not doing great.
It is it is in some by some measurements has the lowest voting turnout rate of any state in the country.
It ranks them on the bottom.
You know, people people there just there's like, why would you turn out to vote?
Because it's just it's just Republicans.
But what's happening is black voter turnout is up.

See, in North Carolina, a state where.
the republicans and the state legislature have done a great deal to try to to gerrymander congressional districts as well as state legislative districts there was a big effort now to beat the super majority in the senate very competent really impressive woman named cindy bat she's the um
Minority leader for the Senate there.
She's leading an effort to beat that supermajority.
They're trying to hold it off in the House on the North Carolina side.
Mississippi last year broke their supermajority at the state legislative level.
You do see this kind of progress.
Michael, you talked about the down-ballot races.
That is where the game is won and lost, and that is why Democrats are on their heels in the South, because state legislative races in the South have not been a priority.
