It's interesting.
I I tell this story all the time.
Like a lot of things happen throughout the course of my drinking career that one would have, you know, in hindsight, like, why wasn't that a rock bottom?
Like that that was good, right?
You know?
I'm like, nah, I'm an overachiever.
We'll have a few of those.
But what's funny is that the actual
sort of moments that got me to quit drinking was pretty ordinary and uneventful.
But it just something happened that totally shifted in my mind, like
Something's wrong here with the with the alcohol use.
Like I I don't have control of it.
I'm not just having fun.
I'm not just overdoing it.
I don't have control of it.
And
You know, I was just driving home from somewhere and I realized I didn't have booze in my house.
And so I'm telling myself, like, Oh, I'm not gonna
stop at a liquor store.
