This is what I'm really, really scared about is this being used to erode civil rights.

And when we were doing the podcast during the 2024 election and they were talking about mass deportation, I told Pumps, my co-host, you guys, I was like, Pumps, they're going to put people in concentration camps.

And she was like, no.

And then alligator Alcatraz comes up.

And I think that when you have authoritarian figures, everything they do is about clinging on to power.

And who wants us to have a civil war?

Russia, our other adversaries, Xi Jinping, Modi, they're all meeting together.

And then you have the president of the United States, but he's always attacked the other half of the country.

And it just, it's a really terrifying time.

And I need my politicians to be better

than we are.

We have petty things.

We feel revenge.

We feel like, oh, the Latinos for Trump, you have fucked around and found out.

I need for the politicians to be bigger and better than I am.

I need for them to want to govern for everybody.

And that's not what this administration does.

I know people who are canceling in-person events for the foreseeable future, just because, I mean, especially when you look at even the security situation yesterday, most people don't have as much security as was there.

Dawn, I want to say something that I think that a lot of administrations and the media have done a really bad job.
