And I know, David, you've also had like Energy Cloud in here talking about the fact that we switch off turbines that costs the consumer half a billion euro a year.
You know, so it's all these kind of things that are just absolutely, it's a crazy way to manage a system.
And actually, I'm working on a bill at the moment that will prevent that from happening so that that waste energy doesn't happen and it's not costing consumers money.
But we need government to be looking at all these different kinds of measures because there isn't a one sort of, you know, one solution for everything.
It's a much better management of the electricity system and being a lot more forward thinking and preparing because this kind of reactive, sitting on their hands, waiting for a crisis to happen and then saying they're going to go and chat to the energy companies just doesn't work.
Yeah, and I think your listeners would probably be really surprised to hear that actually we have no offshore wind, despite all the rhetoric from government, despite all the plans, despite all the commitments.
There's currently no offshore wind farms in Ireland.
We had at least the Arklow Bank that has since been decommissioned in the last couple of years.
So we're actually going backwards when it comes to offshore wind.
And when we're talking about, you know, we are producing a lot more renewables in general, but actually...
that renewable energy is going to power data centres.
And when the Minister talks about the billions of euros that the ESB is putting into the grid, again, that is to shore up security for data centres.
So there's a real mismatch between, you know, the government is not taking care of domestic consumers...
And it's all gone to data centres.
So, look, for me, I just, I think it's pie in the sky, right?
I think, aside from any ideological...
questions about whether we should be having nuclear here, I think is completely unrealistic.
I mean, nuclear small modular reactors... What happens in Finland?
