And I suppose at this stage, you know, it's important to kind of like find out what happened to the kids.
Um, because, you know, um Tracy Corbett Lynch, who is uh Jason's sister, who has been done Trojan work in seeking justice for her dead brother, but more importantly, um stepped in and raised the two children as her own.
Um, she gets a phone call in the middle of the night telling her that her brother um
has duh has been killed.
Very sketchy on details.
She and her own husband basically make a move to fly straight to America because their first concern obviously is Jack and Sarah.
They also know that they've been made legal guardians in the event of Jason's death.
He has had that written into his will and they have told how they actually had the
Foresight to go to this lictor's office, get Jason's will before flying out to the US, and they're able to go and present it.
They're not allowed to see the children when they land in the States, which is an extraordinary thing for the Martins family to have done.
The children are, they tell afterwards how they were as frightened and terrified little eight and ten-year-old brought to Molly Martin's brother's house.
Um Sarah has since because she wrote a book, an incredible book actually, um, it back in twenty twenty-five.
It won the biography of the year um in the Unpussed Irish Book Awards.
It's called A Time for Truth.
Um I read it and interviewed her about it in March twenty twenty five.
And I suppose the saddest thing about that book was their childhood.
