I'm Jenny Freel, and this is Crimeworld, a podcast from Crimeworld.com. Uh Lynn, the photos of Molly Martins that have been out recently, they're um they're uh striking for a few reasons. She looks really well. Um and she is uh got a very pronounced baby bump. Um, which no doubt caused a lot of upset, I'd say, like on both sides of the Atlantic actually. I'd say that there are a lot of people in America who are unhapp who are possibly a bit gold to see How well things are going for Molly. Um, just over two years since she was released from jail. Um, but she's uh yeah, the photos there, the Daily Mail had them. Very pretty, kind of light blue uh cotton maternity dress with lots of nice kind of red flowers embroidered all over it, and she's wearing a pair of wedges.
She's back to being quite blonde now. Um, and she, from what they have garnered on social media, they reckon that she's possibly going to give birth to her. first baby at the age of 42 in late November. Um, her boyfriend is a guy called Josh Parrot. He's about 36. Apparently she knows him. She went to school possibly with his older sister in Knoxville, Tennessee, where they're both from. Um, that's papa someone's obviously done a lot of digging on social media, so they've come up with all the common denominators for them and they're kind of come to conclusions there, but we're not totally sure. But it was revealed back in January that she was in a relationship with this guy, Tony Parrot. And that she has since moved in with him because she was back living briefly with her parents, Tom and Sharon Martins, for a little while.
But um this has obviously worked out for her in a lot of different ways, ways that we could never have guessed. six, seven years ago or thought that this could ever happen happen. But I suppose maybe just to let l listeners know exactly where the Corbett's stand on this, and obviously the Corbett's are Jason Corbett's family. Jason Corbett was murdered in twenty fifteen in the bedroom of his home in uh North Carolina. And um both Molly and her father were found guilty of that and sentenced to very hefty sentences, but they appealed and we'll get to that. But Um, in the meantime, Jack, who is Jason's eldest son, he has two children, Jack and um Jack and Sarah. Corbett. And Jack was asked about these new photographs of Molly.
And he sent in a statement saying, I have zero interest in Molly Martin's life, but where where there is a child involved, I can only hope that they are born healthy and grows up safe, protected from ever experiencing the kind of harm that Sarah and I lived through through. Given what I experienced growing up with Molly, I I am deeply concerned for that child. I cannot pretend otherwise. I am still recovering, 11 years on, from the abuse my sister and I endured for years. It broke me. I will never fully heal. I have already stood before a court and spoken about my fear that another innocent child or another family could potentially endure the pain and trauma that my family has endured. That fear comes directly from what I have lived through myself.
I can't predict what will happen in the future, but I know what I experience. experienced, my fear is that another child could one day find themselves living through something similar. I can only hope that this child is safe and that if concerns are raised, they are listened to and acted upon.
