And it's an interesting way for things and people to find a voice that wouldn't otherwise if you had to go through traditional mechanisms.

And it's cool and gives a voice to people for a minute.

And then it gets ruined.

It gets professionalized.

People figure out how to game it.

So you have whole bands and performers who owe their start to MySpace.

Yeah, yeah.

And then YouTube was like a thing where it was just like, hey, I'm just this scrappy person making a little web series in my basement.

And then you end up with people where they're like, yeah, but then it gets too professionalized.

Right.

And then like social media had a moment, like, like there's different social media platforms at a moment like that, but it made me, what I wrote in the margin was everything on the internet is good until it gets ruined.

What's fun about the internet is it's DIY nature and then it gets professionalized and it stinks.

Does that make sense?

So it might just be that we are reaching the maxed out format of these platforms, but

And then maybe some other thing pops off that is like back to being like a little bit, just not so gained and so professional.

I think that's- Or we live in this forever.

There were moments in time where the internet created community.

Yeah.

I don't think we're in one of those moments right now.

So it might be that a new platform emerges that does something in a new way that now allows people to have community.
