So what would happen is there'd be an article, let's say.
And then in the next issue, three months later, it'd be like letters to the editor and people would respond.
You'd have a couple of really thoughtful letters that people had really like, even if they typed them up written, but they'd written these letters and sent them to the magazine.
And then those, then the next issue would have rebuttals to those letters.
And sometimes a conversation would go across like five, six issues.
And I've been getting my issue being like, like one time there was an article about, they released a new line of My Little Ponies and they looked more feminized.
And people were like, hey, these My Little Ponies are sexualized.
And then there was like a slate, like a whole bunch of letters that were like, you're insane.
This is a piece of plastic.
This is not sexy.
And you had other people be like, actually, I'm getting my PhD in the history of eye shape.
And if you can see that, it would just be like I measured the circumference of one of these ponies' asses and they're bigger.
But it was just so interesting because you had this really cool intellectual debate going on.
But people took the time.
People weren't reacting from like instantaneously the way that devices allow us to do.
They were like taking time and crafting a well thought out response when you agreed with it or not.
Yeah.
I missed that.
And then I remember there was a point in the magazine where they're like, hey, we're not getting enough letters anymore to sustain this.
But here's some emails we got.
