Funnily enough, one of the noteworthy aspects of this attack
was that it was not carried out by a migrant.
Ireland now is probably more famous for having this insane influx of single men known as international protection asylum seekers,
you know, protection from what, to be honest, like we need protection from them.
Um, and, and other, other kind of men from middle Eastern countries and men from these other, other, other very, very, very different cultures who have committed a string of incredibly brutal high profile stabbings over the last, I don't know, four years.
Um, uh, so it's notable that this, this particular story does not fit into that mold.

But it does fit into this growing sense of Ireland being at a crisis point.
I mean, it's been at a crisis point socially speaking in terms of jobs and housing and opportunities for young people and clearly now spiritually as well.
