But what's happened is that Hamas have finally agreed, after a lot of work, not least by the Qataris and the Turks, to try
They have finally agreed to disarm, but Israel has said they're not going to take part in that agreement because they don't believe Hamas and Kushner is there essentially to try and push this thing forward because Donald Trump needs a success.
Yeah, he did.
And um the Americans the under Donald Trump are way less squeamish about doing things like that than than previous administrations would have been.
Um and he yeah, he was in um Cairo.
And now he's uh jetted over to Jerusalem where he's been speaking today with uh Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Well Hamas is a yeah, Hamas is an organization absolutely wedded to what it would call the armed struggle against Israel.
So giving up its weapons is a very big deal or being or saying they're prepared to do it.
The thing is, they they say, Yeah, we'll do it if Israel pulls out of Gaza.
Israel doesn't want to pull out of Gaza for a variety of reasons, not least p internal political ones.
They've got elections in November.
There are no votes in doing something like that.
So the Israelis have said we reject the deal.
We're not going to do the deal.
We don't trust Hamas.
And the answer from not least from the the the sort of the the diplomat who works for the Border Peace, who's called Mr.
Mladanov, uh, who this is the Trump the Border Peace is Donald Trump's
idea to try and make this whole thing happen.
