So...

Yeah, the whole art thing for me was a total fluke.

I can't draw a stick figure.

You know, I met this beautiful artist who became my wife after many years.

But how we met was, you know, I had been doing jujitsu my whole life and martial athletics, you know.

Since I was nine years old and I got super sick is the short version of it.

And I could no longer do the things that I was passionate about.

I thought that's all I would ever do with my life.

I had school at UC Santa Cruz and that expanded out into the world.

And I was a young kid and had everything I could ever want.

And then, you know, getting really sick, it changes everything for you when you're a physical person.

And I was going crazy, man.

And moved back to L.A.

and just start disassembling computers.

They were on sale, like a stack of six computers at like a Fry's Electronics, like old school kind of ones with big monitors.

And started taking them apart, putting them back together just as a physical thing to do.

I can't explain why.

I was just doing it.

And I started seeing my whole neighborhood was being demolitioned at the time in Santa Monica.

Because I hadn't been back in 15 years.
