But you're learning a lot while you're on the hoof.
I mean, you're running a hell of a lot.
Bettina Lopez, the artist, she also got to Lisbon and she made a rapid escape when her husband, a poet, was sent to jail in 1964.
But there's a lot of to-and-froing between the metropole, a lot of open discussion between, above all, between intellectuals from different colonies, you see.
It's when Angolans meet Mozambicans, meet Bisaghanians, meet people from Sao Tome, and also if they're mingling in France, you know, they're meeting a cross-section of colonized people who mean to see...
