You know, I wonder if – I know Booth was assistant manager or general manager at the time.

I wonder if this was kind of like a carryover of that.

Here you are, you've got the Nuggets, you've got Jokic, obviously, you wind up with Aaron Gordon, but you've got no depth behind him.

It's been hard to fit good defenders in with him since losing Millsap.

So you take that throw on Jared Vanderbilt.

It doesn't quite work out.

You end up in a position where it's just better to get rid of him.

And now you just take another try on Peyton Watson.

So immediately I fanboyed over it.

I thought, here's another Jared Vanderbilt.

I lost my Vanderbilt.

I was expecting him to turn into a guy who was doing six assists a game and two swats a game and lost him.

And I was like, ooh, great, another one who I get to –

see fly under the radar and kind of root for.

And I think, wasn't it his, a summer league that he like totally blew up.

I think, I think he was shooting like 45% from the three and, and you know, a high scoring per game.

And it was really unexpected from him.

And you never know with G League what you actually have, obviously, because we traded the G League MVP away this last summer.

But yeah, it was kind of cool.

Like, boom, there's something where it's like, wait, there's something more here.
