you like, but he is no mastermind.
He's a pretty blunt instrument.
And Robert Wagner was the muscle and other people were accomplices who were drawn in and out.
And I think initially because Mark Hayden was arrested at the same time as the other two, there was this perception that they were the three killers.
But the reality is Bunting's running this show, Wagner is the muscle and, you know, and just as evil.
And then others are being drawn in and out.
Yeah, so with Flissakis, once he came under police pressure, it didn't take him long to become unstitched, if you like, in terms of his denials.
They didn't last long.
He did it initially to protect his mother.
And he basically then confessed and sat down and did marathon interviews with police.
So he's a young man.
He's frightened because he knows what he's done.
He's frightened because his mother, who's dying of cancer, is implicated.
And his denials initially were, he said, about protecting her.
He was probably trying to protect himself initially, but it all collapsed on itself for him and he gave police a roadmap to the crimes.
And the reality is, if he hadn't given them...
the roadmap to the crimes that he gave them.
They would not have discovered some of the things they discovered.
They would not have identified victims as quickly as they did.
They had bodies in barrels, still didn't know who some of these people were at the point James Vlasakis is doing these tell-all marathon interviews with detectives who are then feeding the information out and it's being investigated.
