you know, that's the key here is, you know, with the campaigning, I guess what we're trying to do is that level of, you know, I guess because I'm a lawyer as well, I'm in this kind of unique situation where I've had pretty much the worst of what can happen in this regard, but I also understand that we need to, you know, maintain, you know, a fair trial, you know, but in terms of the actual how I rebuilt, you know, it's still an ongoing battle, if I'm being honest, but

In saying that, I had to just slowly do it over time.

And I think that there comes a point where your trust has been so destroyed by so many systems that I've now got to a point in my life where I'm now accepting that I need to let people in again.

And that acceptance...

And once I've accepted that, that it's actually not always going to be catastrophic because it has been catastrophic for me.

So that acceptance of that, this is actually now almost a regular, you know, that this is different.

What is different about this?

Well, I'm no longer in court, you know, and I guess that's why I'm fighting so hard, you know, along with so many other incredible people with, with,

working this out for victims and survivors because that adequate, getting that support and that therapy, accessing crisis is so fundamental, you know, and I just want to reassure everyone that, you know, we will continue to fight for it, you know, and that it's that balance between still accessing that support

and not leaving it to the last minute because, you know, that too is incredibly important, you know, and I think that's the key as well.

So, yeah.

Yeah, I'd say, look, I think when I first went public, you know, I guess I kind of had a bit of a... ..a lot more protection on myself, you know, in a sense of... Especially across social media, you know, we all know what...

You know, and it is difficult to juggle.

You know, there's a balance.

I think that for me, I've come to that point where I'm able to almost, I guess, separate myself a little bit from, you know, I guess my pain and everything.

And I will always have time for other victims and survivors.

Absolutely.

You know, and I can't promise that I would be able to individually

you know respond to each one but I will most certainly make that effort whether it be through whatever form to be the voice for for for victims and survivors that still feel that that they haven't quite got their voice yet you know and and yeah so I will definitely continue to do that what do you what do you say to them do you like when you when someone will first reach out what's what's a message that you like to share with them
