It depends, I guess, always it depends on the tone, you know, in a sense of that.

I think the biggest thing is firstly acknowledging, you know, how brave it is that they, you know, are reaching out.

And also, you know, that acknowledgement of what they've been through is incredibly important.

You only know what you've experienced, right?

So, therefore, you can't assume what someone else has been through.

But my biggest worry, because so many people say to me, you know, I've been through this, but nothing like you.

And I say, hang on.

It's all relative.

Yes.

It is all relative and there is no scale here.

And what you have experienced is your experience and how you and your journey of healing, recovery, processing, however that fits, you know, that's your journey.

I think, no, in all seriousness, I think, yeah, if I had one message that,

I'd want people to hear, you know, I think if victims and, firstly, if victims and survivors were listening to this, I say that, you know, you're not your worst chapter.

You know, you know that no matter how you're framed, you know, no matter, you know,

how much stigma I know for myself, you know, that I've been homeless, every system has let me down, you know, that your voice is valid and you do have a voice and there are people out there that do care and do want to hear you and do believe you, you know.

And for people that are listening, you know, for the rest of us,

You know, we really have to just start engaging more in the conversation around victims and survivors and not just listening, you know, but actually pausing and taking a moment of what can we do better as a community across so many levels and just sitting down and having that conversation is...

absolute key.

And I honestly think that we can do so much more if we do it together.
