The devil knows the Bible more than we do.

He knows how to use God's word and twist it.

You know, even in the first time in the Garden of Eden, did God really say that?

That's what you said, did God really say that?

And it comes through the verse to shoot you down.

So in my experience with the Pharisee spirit, they know the Bible probably back to front.

They're probably in churches.

They come across very holy.

Behind closed doors, they will use those same scriptures to rip you to pieces, to tell you that Jesus doesn't want you.

You're going to hell.

There's no hope for you.

In fact, be quiet.

Stop talking.

You're not holy enough to talk about Jesus.

So if you actually look in the Bible,

jesus came up against the pharisees almost 20 times in the bible 20 times he called out the pharisees 20 times is huge considering throughout the bible he did not so much as raise his voice to a sinner he sat with them he ate with them and he said as you say go and sin no more when somebody was dragged to the front and they said she's been she's been doing adultery stoner to death jesus said nope which one of you hasn't sinned put your hand up

So that's the difference.

A Pharisee, the minute you've done something that is, I don't know, not holy or you're not wearing something holy, they drag you to the front and blast you.

The modern day Pharisee is internet.
