Where they feel like- How do you mooch the bear spray?
They feel like just because one person in the group has the bear spray, they don't have to bring their own bear spray, so they don't bring bear spray.
They also don't bring a first aid kit because they know I have the first aid kit.
So I'm the one who gets mooched off of for this all the time.
But honestly, thinking it through, like realistically, in a group setting, does every single backpacker need a first aid kit?
So, but like, have you ever taken the risk of being like, I'm not going to bring first aid at all?
See, and I'm.
I know.
I know a lot of backpackers who it's like, and I've started leaning this way.
If I'm going solo, I think I'm leaning more and more this way to saying, all I really need is some Leuco tape.
And a couple of small gauze pads.
If it's a band-aid, it's a band-aid.
That's all I really need.
I don't need.
And then, of course, still some vitamin I. Yeah, it's a risk that I think I'd be more and more willing to take.
But if I'm with people, I always bring that.
Just this weekend, again, some young guy didn't have a first aid kit, gashed his hand up on a rock, like nothing dramatic, but was just bleeding.
He was scared.
He was like, oh my goodness, oh my goodness, I'm bleeding.
Oh my goodness.
