It's really hard to figure out, like, if I'm not a smoker, like you talked about the identity, who am I?
And so it can be really helpful to have a coach in your corner helping you figure out what the next step is and to really step into a new way of being.
So I think it's awesome.
Thank you so much for coming on here, for sharing your story and, you know, talking about it being hard because, you know, like you said, a lot of us can't get caught in our head and feel alone with it.
So for you to come out and step out of that shame and say, yeah, this was what I did.
And I've decided to change my trajectory here and change my life.
And I think that's really amazing and inspiring.
So thank you so much.
Right on.
Well, thanks again.
And take care, everyone.
I'll see you next week.
Donna talked about how smoking made her feel like she belonged, when otherwise she felt like an outsider.
This was an experience common to Julieta as well, who picked up the habit for the same reason.
Yeah, as the times and her relationship changed, she found that smoking was getting in the way of her ability to connect to others.
Hear how Julieta moved past the habit in episode 41 of You Can Quit Smoking.
What happens when you stop counting the days and stop rushing the quitting process?
This is what worked for Sam, who was smoking up to two packs a day.
Sam followed his own intuition to a way out of smoking, one that unfolded naturally and with ease.
Now Sam hardly ever remembers that he was a smoker.
