But when we think about the overall harms and we're still understanding what those harms are when it comes to ingesting cannabis beverages, we do know that alcohol is dangerous, right?
There's no safe level of alcohol.
But if cannabis beverages
can reduce some of that risk compared to smoking cannabis and other modalities.
This could be a promising alternative for folks.
If we told you, we'd have to kill you.
We don't actually work right now with anyone who makes these, but we understand there's a few different ways.
So similar to taking product oil and mixing that with a liquid to make these beverages.
One thing we haven't explored, though, that's interesting, some people brought up is, is it carbonation?
Does carbonation have an effect on these?
Because some of these beverages are carbonated and some are not.
And so folks speculate that carbonation might increase that high or make it hit faster.

Overall, you know, this is a cross-sectional study.
So this is one point in time where we're asking people to think back on their behaviors.
We'd love to do a study where we follow a cohort of people
who decide to use these cannabis beverages and understand how that behavior changes over time.
Do they continue to only use a few?
Do they increase that consumption as their alcohol decreases?
Do they eventually quit alcohol together?
