Ugh, this is such a good scam.

I mean, I read this in the Hollywood Reporter this morning.

So there's some very elaborate and sophisticated scam right now going on in Hollywood where people are pretending to be podcast producers.

Because we know some of the most famous and popular podcasts right now are the celebrity hosted Amy Polar shows and the smartless and all of that.

They're pretending to be celebrities producers or like production companies and then

Finding the emails of other celebrities and being like, Hey, I'm the producer for this podcast.

We want you to come on the show and there have been a few celebrities who have been scammed out of money.

I've seen these

I've seen

So there was one guy who was pretending to be from uh NPR, the N like the NPR Daily Interview Show.

And so he emailed a celebrity whose name I can't remember.

And one of the things he said was like, We just got our c funding cut by Trump.

Can you send us some money?

And the guy sent him like a couple grand.

And he's like, It sounded really believable.

And they had all this factual information about me and my life and like the work that I've done.

So it seems like

I know.

And then there was another guy who the um scammers were talking to him about his social media accounts and needing access to his social media accounts.

So they hacked into his Facebook and he's not even really sure what they got out of it.
