There's no bones about it.

It is a human rights violation.

So the debate isn't whether the practice is horrific.

It's about how to have the conversation about it that doesn't make

Some community health workers prioritize persuasion because, you know, in some communities the word mutilation, it sounds like a personal accusation instead of an invitation to reconsider the practice.
