I'm talking about the patience, just inspiring and heroic to watch them and their decision-making.

And I feel that film can bring people into an issue that they may not have wanted to hear much about, honestly.

We need to tell stories that make us feel.

We can't be lectured to.

We have to have an emotional twinge.

We have to be stirred.

I spend a lot of time speaking around the country about death and about advanced care planning and decision-making and thinking about your goals, et cetera.

And so I end up spending a lot of time playing go-ish with a variety of groups, from high school students to elderly people.

I've done it many, many, many times.

And I have been struck by

If people don't know what it is, it's a game of cards.

You pick the things that are most important to you.

And I am so struck.

I've noticed it time and time again that a large percentage of people choose that card.

I don't want to be a burden on my family.

It's really common.
