I probably think it's probably one of the most common ones I've seen.
And Bambi did not want to be a burden on Rick.
And if you watch Bambi as she deteriorates at one point, she says, if I have to wear Depends, I'll wear Depends.
And then she agrees to go to respite care, which is the last thing she wanted.
And I think
Our job as a society is to make it such that they don't have to feel like a burden on their loved ones.
We have got to do that because that's what all of us want.
We don't want to burden our family.
We want to make it as easy on our family as possible.
And so there are two things that come with that.
One is planning in advance, thinking it through.
understanding the landscape of what's in front of you so that you can be more prepared for it emotionally and logistically.
And then the second, and I'd say much more important part, is we as a society have got to figure out where our priorities are.
What do we care about?
How do we want to treat people, all of us?
And frankly, this, as we know, is something that will impact every single one of us.
So what is our value around the issue of supporting
it's beautiful and powerful and I would say yes unless that caregiving is going to break you the problem is that if we let it break our caregivers
We have robbed them of the ability to create love in this world.
When you are so running on fumes, I think it's really hard to do that.
