And she was a guest on The Quickie this week in an episode that was all about whether Australians are living too long.

And by coincidence, I actually went and saw her speak um at the Festival of Dangerous Ideas recently.

Uh, and it was so eye-opening.

Quite a dangerous idea that she put forward.

Fully.

And bad for us.

And that it's time that as you get older, there's a point at which you've got to put your hand up and go, I'm tapping out.

Whether that's literally or whether that's her big thing as well is like the workplace.

Like she thinks that there are a lot of eighty year olds in leadership positions and she's like, get out, it's not good for the business.

So she's in her sixties.

I think she's in her late sixties.

Um, and she's like, I'll say it.

And she also was someone who personally cared for an aging parent.

So she's got that insight too.

Um, but in the quickie episode, they talk about the difference between a lifespan and a health span.

We've got twelve years at the end of our lives, um, with chronic pain or disability or illness, right?
