You're in emergency, your first instinct is I need to hold my baby.
But there are two and you've only got two hands.
So inevitably, you know, you end up asking a nurse saying, Can you hold this baby and I'll hold this baby and then we'll swap or or whatever.
Like you just find yourself in instances that are so unlike.

I've found it very hard to relate to people who have had um just the one.
I think that the twin experience is something you need people in your life who have experienced that because it is so distinct.
Yep, the rates of postpartum depression in um twin or multiples is so much higher.
And you can see why.
If I did not have, and it is a cliche, but if I did not have the ridiculous comical level of village that I have.

Because you also don't get those moments of quiet.
Um, which are often what what keep you sane with one.
Um the the sleep, like when they had a cough, it was one would have a coughing fit and you'd be watching them and then the other would have a coughing fit and then the other would have a coughing fit and it's just
Well not.
Like the
uh one has a bad night one night, the other has a bad night the other.
Um and then the the naps, the you know, like you can try and have them on the same schedule.
It's just you do hear uh you know, I've heard people say with one baby, Oh, I I don't have a see I don't have a hand.
