And so I just came at it, I think, by having always been fascinated by defiant types and

Yeah, very much so.

I grew up near St Albans and there was a character in St Albans when I was growing up called Ginger Mills, which is actually the name of the character that Mackenzie Crook plays in the play.

So he's named after.

And Ginger Mills was a cowboy, basically.

He used to walk around with a big leather hat and a massive belt and leather chaps and cowboy boots.

loads of ginger hair.

And I worked on St.

Albans Market for years and he'd bought past 12 times a day.

And he actually lived in a caravan around the back of Marks and Spencer's.

And I remember that the council were trying to evict him forever and on the day they evicted him, he set fire to his caravan and disappeared.

I've since found out that

I found out loads about him because of what happened with the play, which is that he lived in two places.

He lived in, I think it was St.

Albans and somewhere up near Doncaster.
