it really harps on deferred interest, which essentially is what you see this time of year, special financing, those types of deals.
Say you buy a TV or you buy tires in this case for $800.
Six months, you get 0% interest on that.
But if you even have $20 left on those tires, instead of paying interest on the $20, it retroactively applies to the $800.
So again, very tricky.
Yes.
And this time of year, especially, that's when all of the stores harp on their special financing, on their 0% deals, a lot of window signs saying these things.
But as soon as you sign up, they kind of already have you.
Exactly.
And this topped out the list.
I think, you know, even if you asked this a decade ago, this might look different.
But because we're all so attached to smartphones now, because we talk to people via Twitter or see people via Instagram or Facebook, we're so kind of disconnected from the world now.
And I think because of that, this idea of someone ringing your doorbell for you,
you to hand them candy in person is now more frightening than ever.
Now more than ever, people are still spending on candy.
About 45% of people have said that they'll spend the most on candy.
After that, food and alcohol, another 25%.
Then came costumes and finally decorations.
We're seeing that people are getting pretty creative with costumes now, tending to make them, DIY more.
So food and alcohol and candy are the big spends this year.
