And I realized that I was actually abandoning myself.

Hmm.

I was abandoning who I was and what I really needed by shying away from commitments of any kind.

And so, you know, I went from somebody who didn't want to commit to anything to, you know, building spirit daughter.

And I did that through harnessing the lunar cycles.

And so I started working with the new moon.

So the lunar cycle is the cycle that we watch the moon go through every month.

So new to first quarter or half moon cycle.

to full moon to last quarter, another half moon back to new.

And so it's a 29 and a half day cycle.

It happens every month.

So you can count on it.

You can set your watch by it.

I think some watches actually have it in there built in.

you know, for the lunar cycle.

And so I started saying, okay, on the new moon, I'm going to set some intentions.

I'm going to see my future.

I'm going to let myself dream because I was so in the moment and in the moment is great.

We want to be present with ourselves.

We want to live in the moment, but I was like, couldn't think about anything other than getting through that day.
