So right now, Purdue's program, they're in touch with lawmakers to make sure that if some kind of laws related to these programs were to come about, that they would be in compliance with them.
But right now, there's really no regulation specific to ISAs related.
So Congress, there are some bills, some proposed bills to try to, like you said, set some parameters.
So what is the maximum percentage of income that one of these agreements can have to be legal?
What is the maximum amount of time you can spend paying them off?
Things like that.
And a lot of experts think that once Congress sort of really moves on this, then we'll see a lot more universities, companies, investors get into the space.
Because right now, with not a lot of regulatory clarity, they're nervous about doing it.
You know, they don't want to run afoul of the law.
So, yeah, you're right.
It's in its infancy.
I would say that colleges that offer it will be pretty forward about it.
So right now, Purdue is the big one, but there are a couple other schools that are considering it.
And then you can look into some companies that...
that offer this, though, again, it's a little bit hard to find.
So I would say, you know, maybe research and see if your college is doing it or is considering doing it.
And if it's something that you're interested in, maybe tell your college that you're interested in it, because that might push them to, you know, to make it happen.
